York County AFC is seeking a Men’s Team Manager to lead all technical aspects of our inaugural men’s team beginning with the 2026 season. The Men’s Team Manager will oversee player recruitment, roster construction, and day-to-day technical operations, including leading training sessions and managing the first team during matches. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing and coaching at a high level, whether in college, semi-professional, or professional environments, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee all football operations for the men’s first team.

• Recruit, evaluate, and select players for the inaugural season.

• Plan and lead all training sessions and matchday preparations.

• Manage technical staff and coordinate staffing needs with club ownership.

• Develop and implement the club’s soccer philosophy and standards.

• Collaborate with ownership on roster compliance, scheduling, and operational logistics.

• Represent the club in a professional manner within the community and regional soccer network.

Qualifications:

• Significant experience coaching and managing competitive-level soccer (college, or semi-professional preferred).

• USSF “C” License or higher preferred (or international equivalent)

• Strong understanding of player development, scouting, and team management.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a small, startup-style organization.

• Availability for all tryouts, trainings, and matches during the pre-season and season.

The Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing commercial partnerships, coordinating with local organizations and hospitality partners, and maintaining relationships with season ticket holders. This role blends sales, relationship management, and community outreach — ideal for someone who thrives in a people-first, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include

• Develop and manage sponsorship and advertising sales for the club.

• Identify, contact, and secure new corporate and community partners.

• Manage partner accounts, deliverables, and activation throughout the season.

• Oversee season ticket holder engagement and account services.

• Coordinate matchday hospitality, partner activations, and VIP experiences.

• Support community outreach events in collaboration with the marketing team.

• Maintain accurate sales records, proposals, and contract documentation.

• Represent the club in a professional and positive manner at all events.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in sales, marketing, or sponsorship management preferred.

• Prior sports or event sales experience preferred.

York County AFC is seeking a creative, motivated Content Creator to document the formation, launch, and inaugural season of the club. This role will be responsible for both day-to-day social media content and the creation of a long-form YouTube documentary series chronicling the club’s journey from its early stages through the 2026 season and beyond.

This position offers a rare opportunity to help build York County AFC’s identity from the ground up. The content Creator will be embedded with the team, capturing training, matches, events, and behind-the-scenes moments, while shaping a compelling narrative that reflects the club’s identity, people, and community.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, film, edit, and publish short-form content for the club’s social media platforms.

• Plan, direct, film, edit, and produce a long-form YouTube documentary series following the club’s development and inaugural season.

• Capture content at all home and away matches, training sessions, tryouts, and club events.

• Develop creative concepts and storytelling approaches aligned with the club’s identity.

• Manage posting, basic scheduling, and content organization across platforms.

• Collaborate with club leadership while maintaining strong creative autonomy.

• Ensure content is professional, consistent, and representative of the club’s values.

• Assist with archival organization of video and photo assets.

Creative Direction

This role is well suited for an early-career or emerging content creator looking to build a strong portfolio and gain hands-on experience embedded within a live sports environment.
